Our Story

Schrader Excavating & Grading Co. was founded by Shane Schrader in Walford, Iowa. Schrader Excavating & Grading Co. is a locally owned and operated company that has been growing strong since 2007. In 2018 a shop was purchased to provide service to our growing fleet of equipment and vehicles. A new corporate office was opened in November of 2019. We are built strong on hometown values and trust. Our expertise is Mass Site Grading, Excavating, Underground Utilities, Demolition and Boring Services.

At Schrader Excavating & Grading Co. we have handled a wide variety of commercial and residential projects for clients. We have awesome employees that have a strong work ethic and are dedicated to providing our customers excellent service. Our employees have year's of experience and vast knowledge of building requirements in Eastern Iowa and surrounding cities.
